Greg Rutherford has won the 2008 AAA senior long jump title in an Olympic A qualifying distance of 8.20m (+2.0m/s).

Hi series went:

7.44, 7.72, pass, 8.19, 8.20, pass

I predict huge things from Rutherford. He is clearly a massive talent, especially seeing as he managed to jump 8.20m (to exactly match the Olympic A qualifier). If this guy gets it right at the Olympics I think he can challenge for a medal, Chris Tomlinson’s British record of 8.29 certainly looks to be in danger!
